Kate is a PhD student with a background in sociology, philosophy, and feminist theory. She previously worked as a counsellor at a Toronto women’s shelter and helpline. Her MA thesis was a feminist autoethnography on League of Legends. She is interested in affective toxicity and is currently working on her second comprehensive exam on affect theory.
