Our call for the next cohort of RoCCET Fellows is up. We’re looking for a vibrant and diverse group of Master’s students to join us in the Lab. The Fellowships program provides up to CAD$10,200 over two years, in addition to any funding package provided by the University, to support your studies and research. If you’re curious about how media industries and media audiences interact in the world of pop culture, this might be the right opportunity for you!
This year, we’re especially looking for students with interests related to:
- Comic book reading and fandom
- Cosplay and cosplay photography on social media
- Fan conventions’ policy statements
- “Virtual” fan events; fandom and the pandemic
